This installation requires a Phillips-head Driver, Needle-
nose plier, and Side-cutter.
Wear Safety Glasses and Work Gloves
To reduce possibility of injury, wear safety glasses and
work gloves.
REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
1.
DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER
To avoid electrical shock, ensure to disconnect all electrical power sources to the appliance.
2.
REMOVE SAFETY BARRIER SCREEN AND LED DRIVER
The gain access to the LED Light Channel, remove the Safety Barrier screen by
lifting it up and swinging the lower portion out. The LED Light Channel is
located below the Firebox Front Glass Door.
Using a Philips screwdriver, unfasten the screw holding the LED driver in place
(see Figure 1). Using a needle-nose plier, compress the locking tab on the LED
connector to release its cord (see Figure 2).
CAUTION: TO PREVENT CORD/CONNECTOR DAMAGE, DO NOT PULL THE LED
CORD BEFORE DISENGAGING THE LOCK.

REMOVE LED CHANNEL
From bottom of Firebox, pull the LED Light Channel forward and guide it out
of the fireplace. Unfasten the perforated LED Shield from the Light Channel to
expose the LED Light Strip (see Figure 3).
NOTE: Make note of the original position and orientation of the old LED strip.
The new LED Strip will be installed at the same location.

REMOVE OLD LED LIGHT STRIP
Cut the ties currently holding the LED Cord to the Channel (see Figure 4).
Slowly but firmly, pull the old LED Strip.
NOTE: Ensure that all PSA Adhesive material is removed from the LED Light
Channel. Using thinner or IPA, ensure the surface is clean. DO NOT DISCARD
CORRUGATED CABLE SLEEVE.
5.
INSTALL NEW LED LIGHT STRIP
Remove PSA Adhesive Backing from new LED Light Strip. Position strip onto
Channel and apply downward pressure for good adhesion.
CAUTION: TAKE CARE TO NOT DAMAGE LED CHIPS. Ensure the LED Light Strip
is centered.
Route the cord out to the side and secure with the supplied Zip Ties (see
Figure 5). Reinstall the LED Shield, and reverse the remaining steps to reinstall
the LED Light Channel.
