Care and maintenance
FPCSP41-3
1. Release throttle and allow engine to idle.
2. Adjust the idle speed with the idle adjustment screw T which is identified with
“T” mark (Fig. 55).
3. Turn the idle adjustment screw clockwise to increase engine idle speed.
4. Turn the idle adjustment screw counter-clockwise to decrease engine idle
speed.
5. IF engine stalls or dies, increase idle
speed until the cutting attachment starts
to rotate. Then decrease idle speed slowly
until the cutting attachment stops and
turn the idle adjustment screw counter-
clockwise more half-turn .
6. IF cutting attachment keep rotating,
decrease idle speed slowly until the
cutting attachment stops and turn the idle
adjustment screw counter-clockwise more
half-turn.

Muffler
Should it be necessary to modify or replace the muffler (15a), contact an
authorised service center or a similarly qualified specialist. Do not attempt to
make any adjustments by yourself.
Silencer
Should it be necessary to modify or replace the silencer, please contact an
authorised service centre or a similarly qualified person.
Maintenance
Before and after each use, check the product and accessories (or attachments)
for wear and damage. If required, exchange them for new ones as described in
this instruction manual. Observe the technical requirements.
NOTE:
Always empty the fuel tank and keep the air filter (6b) / the spark
plug (7a) upside. Otherwise the fuel or engine oil will contaminate them
and cause difficulties to start the engine.
