Step 12:  Cafe Wall Assembly

Note: Pre-drill all holes using a 1/8” drill bit before installing the Lag Screws.
A:

  On the ground lay flat 2 (2383) Posts then loosely attach (0348) SL Ground  with 4 (H2) 1/4 x 2” Hex Bolts 

(with lock washer, flat washer and t-nut); (2371) Floor End (in the top holes) and (2387) Side Arch (in the top 

holes) with 2 (H2) 1/4 x 2” Hex Bolts (with lock washer, flat washer and t-nut) per board, as shown in fig. 12.1.    

Keep bolts loose.

B:

  Make sure assembly is square and then fasten (2371) Floor End to (2383) Posts with 2 (LS1) 1/4 x 1-1/2” Lag 

Screws (with flat washer) and (2387) Side Arch to posts with 2 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2” Wood Screws. (fig. 12.1 and 12.2)

C:

  Tighten all bolts.
