Using the Software

UniPro Parameters

•

Lane Test Mode

: Select the option

Data0 + Data1 Simultaneously

test both lanes at the same time. In this case, make sure that the

sequence file is adapted accordingly.

Pattern/Sequence Mode

: Select either

Burst

Cont

(continuous).

Amplitude Mode

Small

Start Sequence with Manual Break

: Set to ON to automatically add a

Pause block to the sequence and turn off the Global Output of the

M8040A. The DUT will only receive the signal after you have pressed

Break. A limitation of this feature is that the DUT loses its HS

termination as soon as the Global Output is off.

•

Reset DUT on starting Sequence

: This button is enabled if, in the

Connection window, the buttons

Low speed analyzer (DSGA)

and

DSGA Trigger

are set to ON. If it is enabled, a Trigger Out signal from

the DSGA is generated to physically reset the DUT on starting the

sequence.
