Making an Average Power Measurement

Setting Power Meter Resolution
You can choose from four levels of Power Meter
resolution. Higher resolutions provide more accuracy but
slow the measurement speed.
1 Press
[Preset]
to perform a factory preset.
2 Press
[MODE]
>
{Power Meter}
> [ENTER]
to turn on
the power meter.
3 Press
{Meas Disp}
>
{Resolution}
. Select 1,2,3 or 4. The
four options represent different resolution as follow:
•
[1] = 1
•
[2] = 0.1
•
[3] = 0.01
•
[4] = 0.001
Setting

Top and Bottom
End-Points
Setting the end points (Disk Range) close to expected
measurement value changes the sensitivity of the Power
Meter scale resolution. This is an advantage in viewing
small changes in power. However, this will not affect the
overall range of the sensor.

to access the
end-points menu.
4 Press
{Top}
and enter the maximum scale value
desired using the numeric keypad. Then press
{dBm}
to complete the setup.
5 Press
{Bottom}
and enter the minimum scale value
desired using the numeric keypad. Then press
{dBm}
to complete the setup.
