Error Detector
CDR Bandwidth The loop bandwidth of the error detector clock data recovery (CDR) unit.
CDR Peaking The loop bandwidth of the error detector clock data recovery (CDR) unit for the M8020A error detector. It can be set
to “low”, “medium” or “high”.
Loop Selection The second order CDR loop settings for the M8040A error detector. It can be set to Loop1 or Loop2.
Transition Density The expected transition density at the error detector used to optimize the internal CDR settings.
CDR Symbol Rate In the case of the M8040A error detector, the CDR data rate must be very accurate to work properly. Specify in this
field the exact loop-back data rate of the DUT.
