• If the BERT device is online and defined in the
Keysight Connection
Expert
, click
Select from Keysight Connection Expert favorites:
. The
VISA address list defined in the Keysight Connection Expert software for
each online instrument is displayed. After you verify the VISA/SICL
address, select the correct VISA Address from the list.

Get
on the
Connect to M8070
window. The
IDN:
field displays the
instrument name.

4 Click
OK
to establish connection with M8070B/A and to launch the
N4917BSCB 400G Optical Receiver Test Application. If the connection
cannot be established, the application start will be aborted. If the
required licenses are missing, a message is displayed.
