7. Maintenance
7.2 Compressor maintenance
Caution: Before the start of any maintenance work, the
mains plug must be unplugged.
Note:
Please note the details in the compressor operations

Filter cleaning every three months
1. Unscrew the attachment screw on the filter lid.
2. Detach/undo the filter lid.
3. Remove the filter. Release any dust of the filter. If it is
heavily soiled, clean the filter with a neutral detergent, af-
terwards rinse with water and dry.
4. Refit the cleaned filter such that the finer honeycomb
structure is located on the bottom side! Press the filter lid
back into place by exerting pressure from above.
5. Fasten the filter lid with the screw.
Membrane
The filter and the membrane must be replaced once every
12 months by trained service personnel. In addition, the
valve blocks must also be checked for soiling and replaced
if necessary.
Caution! Do not use any solvents to clean the filter, as
this may lead to damage.
In general, the following must be checked:
- Is any air flowing from the air outlet?
- Can any abnormal noises or vibrations be heard?
- Is the compressor's temperature normal or possibly
excessive?
- Does the mains power supply cable exhibit any damage?
7.3 Diagnosis and faults
In case of complaints, please first of all refer to chapter
9"Malfunctions and Remedial Measures".
If it is nevertheless not possible to eliminate a fault, separate
the plant from the power supply and contact one of our dea-
lers or after-sales service technicians. When doing so, com-
municate details of the components (rating plate) and faults
as detailed as possible.
Warning:
Do not put the plant back into operation before a possible
fault has been eliminated. Do not undertake any further at-
tempts at repairing the plant yourself! Repairs must be car-
ried out by qualified personnel. If you have any queries in re-
spect of service work, please contact one of our dealers or
after-sales service technicians.
Spare parts
Please use exclusively original parts.
Failure to do so may lead to malfunctions or defects on the
compressor.
