CLAMPING TABLE, SADDLE AND KNEE:
When milling with longitudinal table feed
only, it is advisable to clamp the knee to
the colµmn and the saddle to the knee to
add rigidity to these members and pro
vide for heavier cuts with a minimum of
vibration .. The saddle locking lever is
located on the left-hand side of saddle.
Excessive pressure can cause slight table
bind. U-se moderate clamping pressure,
as this will hold saddle sufficiently.
The table clamp levers
are
located on
the
front of saddle and shoulq always be
clamped when longitudinal movement is
not required.
SADDLE LOCKING LEVER
The two clamps on the left rear of the knee
should only b� used when the knee will not
be moved.
