11. System setup procedure
11.1 Autoprogram procedure
• When starting up and connecting the power supply,
a welcome screen
will appear followed by the Smart
Slider’s display cockpit appears on the screen. (see page 26-27)
• Check carefully that the
OPEN direction is stated correctly "
L
" for a left-opening system and "
R
" for a
right-opening system
. If necessary, follow the Setup procedure (see page 23) for this if you need to change.
• Check carefully that the
motor position stated correctly. "
l
" for the motor on the left and "
r
"
for the
motor on the right
. If necessary, follow the Setup procedure (see page 8) for this if you need to change.
• Speed and force sensitivity
are set by default for a possible start-up, you can change them and adjust if
necessary,
always follow the standards
, this should only be carried out by an expert installer.
• With the arrow keys on the control PCB you can already test
your end of run positions
, when activated you
will see the relevant square dot turns ON and OFF. (see also pages 8)
• Enter the MENU
by pressing
the push button E3
on the electronic control plate for
at least 5 seconds.
• After entering
the default password '9'
you can
scroll
with the arrow keys to the
AUTO Prog. menu.
• (see pages 25/26)
• Make sure that nothing or nobody is in the area
where the window is moving.
• Press
the E3 key to start the procedure
and confirm again… wherever the window is located,
a closing
procedure will be performed first at slow speed.
• The system will
initialize to its zero point (fully closed position)
, it is extremely important that the relevant
end of run is activated in this action, you can see this on the screen during the process.
• After initialize the zero point, the system will open to measure the run way, and go to the open switch.
• After the initialisation of the limit switches, the system will close fully and then open fully at normal
speed to learn the necessary force.
• A
beeping sound confirms
the smooth running of
the AUTO prog. action
. The system is almost ready for
use.
• Now it is extremely important
that all functions, connected safety devices and force settings are checked
be on proper operation.
• If necessary, you can
increase or decrease the sensitivity of force detection
(see page 22), always do this
with due regard for safety standards.

• When this has been completed, you can
connect command signals
to the relevant terminals.
• Your system is now ready for use!
