Results
The blue status LED lights up.
The image data is automatically transmitted to the imaging software. The
progress of the scanning process is displayed in the preview window on the
monitor.
After it has been scanned, the imaging plate is erased and drops into the
collection tray.
When the green status LED lights up, the image is saved to Romexis.
What to do next
Remove the imaging plate and prepare it for taking a new X-ray image.
4.2.4 Erasing imaging plates
About this task
The imaging plates are automatically erased after scanning. However, the
plates can be erased using the erasing mode which will not scan the plate
before erasure. The imaging plates should be erased before use in the
following cases:
•
The first time the imaging plate is used, or if it is stored for longer than a
week.
•
If, due to an error, the image data on the imaging plate has not been
erased (software error message).
Follow the steps below to erase imaging plates.
Steps
1. Start Romexis.
2. Select a patient.
3. Click on the PSP capturing button.
The capture window opens.
