▶ In order to preserve the dimensional stability of the chuck assembly aid after re‐
moval from the chuck, store the chuck assembly aid in the designated package.
▶ Check and ensure that the slotted pin tension spring can be inserted smoothly in‐
to the opened chuck.
▶ Plug the slotted pin tension spring into position 8 of the tool magazine holder.
▶ Close the door.
▶ Tap the "Retrieve slotted pin tension spring" press button.
ð
The slotted pin tension spring will be retrieved automatically.
4.2 Cleaning the tool magazine holder
Note
Open the protective door, press the cleaning button and select "Switch on" for the
compressed air for cleaning

▶ Clean the guide grooves for tool magazine on the tool magazine holder using the
brass cleaning brush 1.011.4797.
▶ Take out the tool magazine.
▶ Take out the tools from the magazine.
▶ Clean the tool magazine, guide surfaces and holder rings in the magazine under
warm running water using the brass cleaning brush 1.011.4797.
▶ Then dry the tool magazine well and then wet it with spindle oil.
▶ Wet the holder rings of the tool magazine with spindle oil.
▶ Replace the tensioning screw for blank holder.
