4 Servicing after 160 operating hours | 4.1 Cleaning and exchanging the chuck
Position the threaded pin in the chuck
▶ Check the position of the threaded pin in the chuck.
▶ Rotate the threaded pin back to the extent that the chuck assembly aid touches
the bur stop of the chuck.
Insert the chuck in the spindle
▶ Slide the chuck assembly aid into the chuck until it hits the bur stop.
▶ Tighten the chuck by hand until the chuck assembly aid is slightly tensioned.
▶ Keep the chuck in this position with your thumb and index finger and unscrew the
chuck assembly aid in clockwise direction.
▶ Keep the chuck in this position and tighten the threaded pin with the general pur‐
pose tool (Mat. no. 1.009.0859) at a torque of 2 Nm. Make sure that the position
of the chuck does not change.
