8 Troubleshooting
Malfunction Cause Remedy
The suction is too low (also in the
highest level of the suction control).
The filter elements are dirty. ▶ Clean or replace the filter ele‐
ments
The exhaust paths or air exit. ▶ Collect the exhaust paths (espe‐
cially air louvers when installed)
and eliminate hindrances.
The suction fan does not work even
though the power switch is on.
Fan switch is in postion "0" (off). ▶ Push the fan switch into position
"1" (manual mode) or down to
position "2" (automatic mode).
The fan switch is in position "2" (au‐
tomatic mode), and the set turn-on
time has not been reached.
▶ Move the fan switch up to posi‐
tion "1" (manual operation), or
change the turn on time of auto‐
matic mode.
The fuse is blown for the suction fan. ▶ Only a KaVo technician or
trained employee may exhange
the fuse.
