4 Fitting and connecting
4.1 Check the location
The necessary minimum room height is:
▪ 2500 mm with a direct vertical connection (A)
▪ 2750 mm with a flanged-on elbow (B)
The pipe diameter for the exhaust must be at least 200 mm.
Note
The overall length of the exhaust pipe should be kept short to ensure ef‐
fectiveness. Consequently, avoid bends and narrowing diamters of the
exhaust pipes.
Note
The provided screw sets are only suitable for walls made of steel-rein‐
forced concrete, building tile and non-perforated limestone.
With walls made of the following materials, use injection anchors of type "F/M 10N"
(Mat. no. 0.224.6666) and hex head screws "M10 x 20" according to DIN 933
(Mat. no. 0.251.0202):
▪ Cored brick
▪ Perforated limestone
▪ Full brick of light concrete (pumice)
▪ Hollow block of light concrete
▪ Aerated concrete
▶ Check that the rated voltage frequency match the specifications on the rating
plate.
▶ Note the minimum room height.
▶ Ensure sufficient ventilation.
