4 DIAGNOSTICS
4.1 General
The following information is intended to facilitate troubleshooting of the Dis-
charge Power Supply. This information assumes that the Power Supply is con-
nected to power and that all interconnects between power supplies and the ion
source cable are made correctly. It is also assumed that all gas connections are
in good condition and that the gas circuit is complete from the gas bottle to the
ion source.
Power must be removed from the Power Supplies prior to performing
maintenance on the Ion Source.
4.2 Diagnostic Table
The following table may be used to assist in determining faults and corrective
action for the Discharge Power Supply.
