11. CLEANING & RECYCLING
CLEANING
In order to lengthen the life of your scooter, it is suggested that you clean the scooter
periodically (if not daily), especially after it is used in the rain or snow. We suggest that
you don't use your scooter in the rain or snow. If you are traveling and get caught in the
rain, we suggest you try to find shelter and turn OFF your scooter while waiting it out. If
you can't find shelter, proceed to your destination. However we do not recommend you
do this often as it may shorten the life of your scooter or cause damage.
Driver's seat upholstery:
use soapy water. Wring out the sponge/ cloth before scrubbing. Do not
use the scooter until it is dry.
Frame:
wipe with a damp cloth, but be sure not to splash/spray the scooter with water, as doing
so may damage the motor, electrical wiring and battery. If compressed air is available, you can
use the compressed air to clean you scooter (do not to exceed 7K and keep the nozzle at least
10cm away from your scooter).
Casing:
wipe with a damp cloth. After it is dry, coat the casing with a light layer of wax, if
desired.

There are many organizations in many countries you can find on the internet that will
accept used goods for charity or disassemble electronic equipment and batteries to
recycle them. Please search the information highway to help less fortunate
individuals and protect our planet for future generations. If you do not have access to
the world wide web please use your local phone directory, ask for operator assistance
or go to your local government center for more information. Earth Day is every day.

Check with your local recycling center on where and how to recycle
used batteries as this information varies from region to region.
