Guidance for pipe installation
•
Use the length of the vacuum hose to determine where the
wall valves are to be installed. Measure the longest point from
which the wall valve should be fitted with the vacuum cleaner
hose. Do the same for all the valves so that the entire house
can be reached with the vacuum cleaner hose, by switching
from one valve to another.
•
Never place a valve on the center of the wall if there is a
plaster wall. Drill the holes for the valve near a stud or a
door post.
• Any screw length can be used when mounting the pipes as
shown in figure A.
• When installing the pipes as shown in Figure B, make sure that
you use short screws, so you do not hit the pipes with the screws.
• Always use a short elbow when installing the wall valves to
prevent long objects (such as pencils which may accidentally
be vacuumed), blocking the pipes.
