sion pump. Do not operate the pump if there
are persons located in the swimming pool or
the garden pond.
For safety reasons, we recommend that you
operate the appliance only via a earth-leak-
age circuit breaker (max. 30 mA).
The electrical connection of the system may
only be performed by a qualified electrician.
Please follow the respective national regula-
tions!
In Austria
pumps to be used in swimming
pools and garden ponds should be equipped
with a fixed connection line according to
ÖVE B/EN 60555 Part 1 to 3; power supply
should be via a ÖVE-tested isolating trans-
former whereby the secondary nominal volt-
age should not exceed 230V.
This device is not intended for use by per-
sons (including children) with reduced phys-
ical, sensory or mental abilities or lacking
experience and/or knowledge, unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or are instructed by these per-
sons on the use of the device. Children
should be supervised, to ensure that they do
not play with the device.

Î
Screw the hose connection onto the pump
and make sure that the flat seal is installed in
the hose connection.
Note
The shorter the hose, the higher the feed rate.
Î
Push the hose on the hose connection and
fasten it with appropriate hose clip
Î
In automatic mode, the switching height is al-
ready predefined by the length of the level
sensor cable.

Î
In manual operations mode, align the level
sensor upward (cable pointing downward).
Tip: Push the cable of the level sensor like a
loop through the handle and position the lev-
el sensor as shown.

Î
Place the pump on a level, stabile surface in
the liquid to be transported, ensure that it is
standing firmly or immerse it using a rope
tied to the handle.
The suction area should not be blocked fully
or partially through the impurities.
The fluid level must be at least 3 cm (SCP 5000)
or 8 cm (SCDP 5000) for the pump to suck in au-
tomatically.
Î
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
In the automatic mode, the level switch automat-
ically controls the pumping operations. The
pump starts when the fluid level reaches a cer-
tain height.
The pump is shut off starts when the fluid level
falls to a certain level.
Ensure that the level sensor is not obstructed in
any way.
