 General inspection of the correct over-
all condition of the interior cleaner (op-
erator).
 Check that the connection thread of the
interior cleaner is tightly seated (opera-
tor).
 Check whether all screws are fastened
tightly (operator).
 Check nozzles for tight seating (opera-
tor).
 Check that the protective bar (accesso-
ry) is tightly seated (operator).
 Check that the fall protection eye (ac-
cessory) is tightly seated (operator).
 Rinse out the filter (operator).
 Check the friction bearing of the water
turbine, replace if necessary (Customer
Service).
 Check the friction bearing of the spray
rotor, replace if necessary (Customer
Service).
 Applies only under ATEX conditions:
Check the ball bearings and replace if
these are free of grease/dry or do not
run smoothly (Customer Service).
 Check the ball bearings and replace if

 Rinse out the interior cleaner with water.
 Turn the interior cleaner over and allow
the water to drain out.
 Perform a visual inspection and repeat
the procedure if necessary.


Risk of accident while working on the unit!
During all tasks:
 Remove voltage from and secure high
pressure pump at the main switch.
 Shut off the cleaning liquid supply.
Who may remedy faults?
 Operator
Work designated with the sign “Opera-
tor” may only be carried out by persons
who have been instructed in the safe
operation and maintenance on the high
pressure plant.
 Customer Service
Work designated with the sign “Cus-
tomer Service” may only be done by the
fitters of Kärcher Customer Service.
