D cleaning head: Remove the lid of the
cleaning head.
Place the cleaning head halfway in front
of the appliance.
Connect the power cord of the cleaning
head to the appliance (same colours
must meet).
R cleaning head: Slide the lid in and
tighten the screw.
D cleaning head: Replace the lid and
lock it.
Connect the hose couplers on the
cleaning head to the hose on the appli-
ance.
Insert the tab into the middle of the
cleaning head, between the fork of the
lever.
Position the lever on the pedal for rais-
ing/lowering so that the borings in the
lever and the cleaning head align.
Insert the stop pin through the bushings
and swivel the locking plate downward.
Align the pushing rod in the handle at
the cleaning head.
Insert the stop pin from the right through
the bushings and swivel the locking
plate downward.
Repeat process on the pushing rod on
the opposite side.
Note
Both the pins at the pushing rods are
pushed in from the same side through the
bushings (not in opposite directions).
Loosen the nuts of the adjustment
screw and align the cleaning head in
such a way that the brush rollers touch
the floor in an even manner.
Then tighten the nuts of the adjustment
screw.
The removal will take place in the opposite
order of the installation.
Release the screw for locking the tank
and swing up the tank.
Clamp off the minus pole of the battery.
Clamp off the remaining cables from the
battery.
Unscrew the fastening angle.
Remove the batteries.
Dispose of the used batteries according
to the local provisions.
Remove service cover.

5 Rotor
Remove covering lid.
Remove cover.
Remove the hose holder with the pump
hose (turn manually to remove the rotor
manually).
Replace pump hose.
Dosing pump and appliance are
brought into operational state by per-
forming the same steps in the reverse
direction.
To ensure a reliable operation of the appli-
ance maintenance contracts can be con-
cluded with the competent Kärcher sales
office.
In case of danger of frost:
Empty the fresh and dirt water reser-
voirs.
Store the appliance in a frost-protected
room.
Danger
Do not exceed a gradient of max. 10% up-
ward/downward slope while loading or un-
loading the machine.
Caution
Risk of injury and damage! Observe the weight
of the appliance when you transport it.
If you want to transport the machine on
a vehicle secure it from slipping using
belts/ ropes.
Activate immobilising brake.
Raise the cleaning head to avoid dam-
age to the brushes.
Remove brushes from the brush head.
Caution
Risk of injury and damage! Note the weight
of the appliance in case of storage.
This appliance must only be stored in inte-
rior rooms.
