Using Your Kambrook Sandwich Maker
Continued...
NOTE:
When using the sandwich
maker for the first time, you may
notice a fine smoke haze. This is
caused by the heating of some
of the components; there is no
need for concern.
WARNING:
The
temperature of accessible
surfaces may be high
when the sandwich
maker is operating.
For Best Results
• To avoid egg leaking:
– Make sure the sandwich maker is
preheated
– Make sure the egg cooking plate
is pushed all the way into place
– Do not overfill the sandwich
maker
– Do not push the lid down as it is
intended to “float” on the bread.
The lid will rise as the egg cooks.
• Extra large eggs, frozen, or very
cold ingredients may lengthen
cooking time.
• Higher fat content and sugars may
cause some breads to darken. In
that case, cook egg for several
minutes first without bread or
other ingredients in the sandwich
maker. Once egg is cooked,
carefully lift the egg cooking plate
and egg ring and place bread
on base heating plate. Add
other ingredients as required and
continue cooking.
• The sandwich maker rings can be
used as a cutter to shape bread
which will fit the sandwich maker.
Remove the rings and use the
base ring to press down on a
slice of bread to press out a circle
(see Fig. 4).

NOTE:
Make sure if using the
rings as a cutter to clean any
bread residue that may get
lodged around the handles.
