REPLACEMENT OF MEMORY ICs
1. MEMORY IC
This model uses memory IC. In the memory IC is memorized data for
correctly operating the video-chroma and deflection circuits.
When replacing the memory IC, be sure to use IC written with the initial
values of data.
2. PROCEDURE FOR REPLACING MEMORY IC
(1)
Power off
Switch the power off and unplug the power plug from the wall outlet.
(2)
Replace IC
Be sure to use memory IC written with the initial data values.
(3)
Power on
Connect the power plug into the wall outlet and turn the power on.
3. PROCEDURE FOR SET-UP MENU
(1) Press the
MENU / EXIT
key and the
VOL UME-
key simultaneously.
(2) The SET-UP MENU screen (Fig. 1) will be display ed.
(3) Check the setting value of the SET-UP MENU table.
(4) If the value is different, select the setting item with the
SELECT

/
▼
) key, and set the correct value with the
ADJUST
( / ) key.
(5) Press the
MENU / EXIT
key, and return to the normal s creen.
4. PROCEDURE FOR reset OR all reset
(1) The SET-UP MENU is displayed.
(2) Select
“reset”
or
“all reset”
item with SELECT (
▲
/
▼
) key of
remote control unit.
(3) Press ENTER ( ) key, and the
“reset”
(or all res et) menu is
displayed (Fig. 2).
(4) Press ENTER ( ) key, data will be initilized.

When "reset" is set up, the s etting value of the SET-UP MENU will be
initialized.

When "all res et" is set up, the power is turned off for a while and on
automatic ally again. T hen every setting value will be returned to
those at factory shipment.
When select the [reset or all reset],
change to [ENTER : ] mode.
