Deleting an ActiveSync
partnership
If your Field PC fails to synchronize completely or if you
would like your Field PC to communicate with another
desktop computer, you can delete the existing ActiveSync
partnership on your desktop computer.
To delete a partnership, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the Field PC from your desktop computer.
2. Open ActiveSync on the current desktop computer.
3. Double-click
File
from the ActiveSync window,
choose
Mobile Devices
, and select the partnership to
delete.
4. Double-click
File
again, and select
Delete Mobile
Device
.
When you connect your Field PC to this desktop
computer after you have deleted an ActiveSync
partnership, you are asked to create a new partnership.
To do this, follow the instructions on the desktop screen.
Transferring files to and
from the Field PC using
ActiveSync
You can copy or transfer files between the Field PC
and a desktop computer using ActiveSync.

created in programs like Microsoft

Excel
®
, Word

, and
PowerPoint
®
are designed to be compatible between
the Field PC and a desktop computer. They convert
automatically.

your Field PC, follow these steps:
