Replacing wheels
WARNING!
A truck tipover can cause accidents
In order to raise the truck, use only suitable lifting gear at the points specially
provided for this purpose.

Note the weight of the truck on the data plate.
u
Always use a jack with a minimum capacity of 2500 kg kg.
u
Raise the unladen truck on a level surface.
u
When raising the truck, take appropriate measures to prevent it from slipping or
tipping over (e.g. wedges, wooden blocks).
WARNING!
Falling wheels can cause injury
u
The wheels of the truck are very heavy. A single wheel can weigh up to 150 kg.
u
Always replace wheels with a suitable tool and protective equipment.
Removing the wheels
Requirements
– Prepare the truck for maintenance and repairs
Tools and Material Required
– Jack
– Hard wooden blocks
– Mounting lever
– Torque wrench
Procedure
• Place the jack against the contact point.

• Raise the truck.
• Support the truck with hard wooden blocks.
• Undo the wheel attachment (146).
• Remove the wheel, using a suitable mounting lever if necessary.
The wheel has now been removed.
