Replace the LPG bottle
F
The LPG bottle must only be replaced at designated areas by trained and authorised
personnel.
– Park the truck securely before filling
up (see Chapter E).
– Close the shut-off valve (3) securely.
– Start the motor and allow the LPG
system to run empty in neutral.
– Unscrew the union nut (4) with an
appropriate key while holding against
the handle (6).
– Remove the hose (5) and immediately
screw the valve cap onto the empty
LPG bottle.
– Remove the stop bolt (7) and rotate
the LPG bottle and bracket around the
handle (9).
– Fold back the lever of the toggle-type
fastener (8) and unhook the
tensioning pivot from the bracket.
– Remove the tensioning belt.
– Carefully remove the LPG bottle from
the bracket and place it down
securely.

Only use 18 kg (29 l) LPG replacement
bottles.
– Insert the new LPG bottle in the
bracket and turn it so that the neck of
the shut off valve is facing up.
– Fit the tensioning belt around the LPG
bottle.
– Hook in the tensioning pivot and
tension the belt with the lever (8).
– Rotate the LPG bottle and the bracket
around the handle (9).
– Press in the stop bolt (7).
– Refit the hose (5) in accordance with regulations.
– Carefully open the shut off valve and check the connection is sealed using a foam-
based agent.
