4 Installation
4.1 Installation site

Flow sensor installation site
Turbulence can result from incorrect mounting.
 The installation location should be selected so that a straight inlet section of at least 5 x internal pipe
diameter and a straight outlet section of at least 3 x internal pipe diameter are ensured. Installation
in the standpipe is recommended for vertically installed pipes. For horizontal installation, it must be
ensured that no air bubbles form at the mounting flange. Do not mount in downspouts that are open
at the bottom. The M12 connector should be positioned opposite the direction of flow.
