4.8 Important information for usage according to EHEDG
The following process connections are suitable for use according to EHEDG :
• 613 and 616 (Clamp DN 25/32/40/50 with Tri-Clamp seals Combifit International B.V.)
• 685 (VARIVENT in-line flange connection type B, F, and N with O-ring made of EPDM)
The device is suitable for CIP (cleaning in place) if installed appropriately, for temperature and material
resistance see chapter 6 "Technical data", Page 29.
Observe EHEDG-compliant integration into the respective systems:
The following drawing shows an installation example.
Observe dimensions to avoid cavity:
L < D .
Prefer installation without cavity.
Ensure self-draining installation of the connection spigots.
Use only EHEDG approved process connections according to the current EHEDG position paper.
When used on tanks, the installation must be flush with the front. Cleaning by direct illumination must be
ensured. It must be possible to detect cavity.
Install leakage opening in a clearly visible position. In the case of vertical lines, install pointing down-
wards.
