(15) Description of equipment
The pressure transmitter Type dTRANS p02 is used to convert a physical measurement
variable into a standard electrical signal. The transmitter is intended for use in potentially
explosive atmospheres.
The electronics housing is installed in hazardous zones which require category 2
equipment. The elements for the process connection are installed in the separating wall
which separates the zones requiring category 2 equipment from those with category 1.
The maximum permissible ambient temperature is related to the temperature class as
follows:
