4  Electrical connection

Connecting the 
cables

The electrical connection for the surface-mountable housing is easily
accessible when the instrument is folded out.

The connection cable between sensor and transmitter must be a shielded cable
with a diameter of 8 mm max.
The instrument contains a guide plate that ensures an optimum cable path.
The sensor cables are run to the plug-in screw terminals and must have a strain
relief.

The cable clip (3) must only be screwed down (see next page) by a 3.5x6.5 pan
head screw! A longer screw may cause a hazardous voltage to be contacted to
the shielding!
