•  The power tool must not be used at work-

places covered by European Directive
94/9/EC.

•  Spraying must not take place in the

vicinity of sources of heat such as naked
flames, cigarettes, tobacco pipes, sparks
and hot surfaces, etc.

•  Recommendation: Wear a face mask

when spraying.

•  Never point the spray gun at yourself,

other persons, or animals.

•   Avoid inhaling fumes from the spray gun

when working indoors and outdoors.

•   Pay attention to the direction of the wind

when working outdoors. Make sure there
is adequate ventilation when working
indoors.

•   Do not spray the spray gun.
•   Do not allow children to play with the

spray gun. Keep it out of the reach of
children.

•   Repairs to electrical parts should only be

carried out by an authorised service centre.

•   The spray gun must not be used to spray

flammable materials.

•   Do not clean the spray gun with

flammable solvent.

•   Pay attention to the risks associated with

the sprayed product. Read the instructions
on the containers or from the product
manufacturer.

•   Do not use the spray gun for products

with unspecified risks.

SUPPLEMENTARY SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORDLESS
POWER TOOLS

•  Remove the battery before maintenance,

or if the tool is not going to be used for
some time.

•   Only use the specified type of battery (see

technical data).

•  Avoid accidental starting. Switch off the

tool if the power supply is disconnected,
e.g. as a result of a power cut or if the
power cord is pulled out.

•  Secure the workpiece. Secure the

workpiece with clamps or a vice. Never
hold the workpiece with your hand.

•  Keep the work area clean. The mixing of

dust from different materials is especially
dangerous. Dust from light metals, e.g.
aluminium, can ignite or explode.

•  Do not use the tool if the power cord is

damaged. Pull out the plug immediately if
the cord is damaged when working. Do not
pull the power cord to disconnect the plug
from the mains socket. Damaged power
cords increase the risk of electric shock.

•  Avoid overheating the tool and workpiece

– risk of material damage.

•  Do not touch accessories during or

immediately after use – risk of burn injury.

•  Never clean hot tools with flammable

agents – risk of fire and/or explosion.

•  Keep the handles clean, dry and free from

oil and grease. Greasy handles make it
difficult to hold the tool – risk of personal
injury and/material damage.

•  In addition to these instructions, you

should always comply with local
regulations and laws concerning health,
safety and the environment.

•  Do not remove or cover symbols and

markings on the product. Replace any
stickers that have become illegible or lost.

SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
SPRAY GUNS

•  The spray gun must only be used for

surface treatment products in the form
paint and enamel etc. with a minimum
flash point of 21°C. In Germany this refers
to surface treatment products in risk class
A II and A III. See label on product.
