Installation in a plasterboard wall

For extra security, a 10 mm thick sheet of Minerit board or Masterboard should be installed behind
the fire (see figure 1).
The board should be installed with at least one screw in each corner into the studs behind the
plasterboard wall. The screws must be fastened 45 mm into the studs, through the Minerit and
plasterboard, and must be able to carry a load of 50 kg/screw.
The fire is hung on two double steel expanders in accordance with figure 2. Note that it is essential
to use double expanders, as they have to pass through both the Minerit board and the
plasterboard. The screws must be able to carry a load of 50 kg/screw.
After installing the wall fire, position and screw in the enclosed angle piece close to the upper edge
of the fire so that it cannot be lifted off.
