SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions carefully before use!

Save these User Instructions for future reference.

Always keep lamp oil out of the reach of children and pets. Even small amounts of lamp oil can
cause young children permanent injury.

If anyone has ingested any lamp oil, seek medical attention immediately or contact the Poisons
Information Centre.

The torch must be standing upright when it is lit.

Make sure the pole is pressed far into the ground so that it is stable.

Only use lamp oil.

Paraffin, petrol or other flammable liquids must not be used.

Place the torch where it cannot present any danger to children and/or pets.

Use only outdoors.

Do not place near to easily combustible materials.

Never leave a burning torch unattended.

Never move a lit torch.

Use the cap to extinguish the flame.

WARNING!

The torch and the cap can get very hot. Do not touch the torch or fill it with lamp oil until the

torch has cooled. Do not store the torch away until it has cooled.

OPERATION

Instructions

The garden torch holds about 250 ml and, when
completely filled, burns for about 3 hours.

Open the safety cover in the wick holder,
as illustrated, by pushing down and
rotating it anti-clockwise.

Fill with lamp oil.

Replace the safety cover in the wick
holder, as illustrated, by pushing down and
rotating it clockwise.

Dry up any spilled lamp oil carefully. Wash
your hands thoroughly.

Wait at least 5 minutes before lighting the
torch, ensuring the wick has time to absorb
the lamp oil.
