SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
Check that the bed warmer is switched off before connecting it to the mains power supply.
Check that the voltage for the bed warmer corresponds to the mains supply voltage.
Do not expose the control panel to heat, moisture or liquids.
Never touch the plug with wet hands or if you are standing in water.
If the bed warmer has become wet, disconnect from the mains power supply before
picking it up.
Hold the plug when disconnecting the bed warmer from the mains power supply. Do not
pull the power cord.
Do not carry, pull or move the bed warmer by pulling on the power cord.
Place the power cord where there is no risk of tripping over it.
The power cord must not be pinched, trapped, bent, folded or rolled up.
If an extension cord is used, its rated voltage must correspond to the rated voltage for the
bed warmer. Ask your dealer if in doubt.
The bed warmer must not be used by children, persons with functional disorders or
persons with no ability or reduced ability to feel heat.
Persons with reduced sensitivity to heat must only use the bed warmer under supervision.
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the bed warmer. Do not leave
the bed warmer unattended when children are nearby.
The bed warmer is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children.
Store the packaging materials out of the reach of children. Risk of suffocation.
Check the bed warmer for damage before use. The bed warmer must not be used if it is
damaged.
Make sure that the bed warmer is not folded up or creased when using it.
The bed warmer must not be used with animals.
The bed warmer must not used outdoors.
The bed warmer must not be placed near a radiator or stove.
The bed warmer must not be used if it is damp or wet.
The bed warmer must not be used instead of a sheet.
The bed warmer must not be placed under a mattress.
Do not use sharp or pointed objects near the bed warmer.
If the bed warmer is used on a folding bed, make sure it cannot become trapped or folded.
The control panel must not be placed on or under the bed warmer.
Switch off the bed warmer when it is no longer in use.
Do not leave the bed warmer unattended when it is switched on.
Take the bed warmer out of the bed when it is not in use.
Do not place heavy objects or sources of heat (hot water bottles, heat pillows) on the bed
warmer when it is plugged in.
