SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than
8 and supervised.

Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

Read these instructions carefully before use.

Save them for future reference together with the warranty certificate, purchase receipt
and, if possible, the packaging.

The appliance is only intended for domestic use.

Switch off and unplug the appliance when it is not in use. Do not pull the power cord to
unplug the plug.

Turn off the appliance before cleaning.

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not allow children to remain unattended in the
vicinity of the appliance when it is turned on.

Regularly check the appliance and its power cord for damage. Check that the appliance is
working properly. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged. Unplug the power cord
immediately.

Do not attempt to repair the appliance. Any repairs must be carried out by an authorised
service centre or other qualified person.

Protect the appliance and the power cord from heat, sunlight, water, moisture and sharp
edges.

Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

Do not use the appliance outdoors.
 Do not expose the appliance’s base to water or other liquids. Do not touch the appliance
with wet hands. Immediately unplug the power cord if the appliance becomes wet.

Do not touch the contents of the kettle.

Only use the appliance in the intended manner.

The appliance may only be used with the base supplied.

A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre, or other
qualified person, to avoid putting safety at risk.
WARNING:

Do not overfill the kettle, as this can cause boiling water to overflow.

Only fill the kettle with cold water.

The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. markings.

Turn off the appliance before lifting the kettle off the base.

Ensure that the lid is always properly closed.

Do not expose the base and/or the outside of the kettle to water.

Do not use any other kettle with the base.
