SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
WARNING: Certain parts of the appliance can become extremely hot and cause burns.
Special attention must be given when children and people with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities are present.
The heater fan must be connected to single phase mains power supplying 230 V ~ 50 Hz.
The heater fan meets the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility as regards
interference with radios and televisions under the EN 55104/1995 standard.
Always turn the heater fan off before leaving your house. Check that the power switch is
turned off (position 0) and that the thermostat is set to MIN. Always disconnect the heater
fan from the power socket after use.
Keep flammable objects such as furniture, cushions, bedclothes, paper/newspapers,
clothes and curtains at least one metre away from the heater fan.
Do not hang anything on or in front of the heater fan.
Always disconnect the heater fan from the power socket when it is not in use. Never pull
on the power cord to disconnect the plug from the socket. Always hold the plug to remove
it.
Do not insert objects into the fan’s air intake or air outlet. There must be at least one
metre of free space in front of the fan and 50 cm of free space behind the fan.
Do not position the heater fan immediately below a power socket.
Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the heater fan when it is in use. Note that
the air outlet becomes hot during use, reaching a temperature of above 80°C.
In order to avoid overheating and the risk of fire, the heater fan must not be covered over.
Do not use the heater fan close to baths, showers or swimming pools.
Do not use the heater fan in locations where explosive gases are present or where
flammable solvents, lacquers or adhesives are used.
Do not use the heater fan if the power cord or plug is damaged in any way. For safety
reasons, the power cord must only be replaced or repaired by an authorised service
centre. Consult your dealer.
Keep the heater fan clean. Do not allow objects to penetrate the air intake or air outlet, as
this can cause electric shock, a fire risk or damage to the heater fan.
Store the heater fan in a cool, dry place when not in use.
WARNING!
Do not use the heater fan close to showers, baths, washbasins or swimming pools, etc.
Always use the heater fan in the upright position.
Do not use the heater fan outdoors. It is designed for indoor household use only.
Do not use the heater fan to dry washing. Never block the air intake or air outlet, as this
causes a risk of overheating.
Do not use the heater fan in spaces of less than 4 m
2
