OPERATION
NOTE:
When the heater fan is used for the first time, or when it has not been used for an extended
period, it is normal for it to emit a certain odour and some fumes. These will disappear after a short while.
The heater fan is equipped with tilt protection. In order to activate the fan, it must be placed on a flat
surface.
Turn the thermostat clockwise to MAX.
For operation in the summer (ventilation only), turn the function selector to the position
.
For heating at half power, turn the function selector to position I (1000 W).
For heating at full power, turn the function selector to position II (2000 W).
To switch off the heater fan, turn the function selector to position 0.
Regulating the thermostat
When the required room temperature has been reached, turn the thermostat slowly anti-clockwise until
the heater fan switches off. Stop in this position. The thermostat will then maintain this temperature in the
room.
The heater fan has a safety switch that turns the appliance off in the event of overheating, for example if
the air intake/outlet is blocked or if the motor is operating slowly or not at all). To reset the heater fan:
Unplug the heater fan from the mains supply and wait for a few minutes, remove the cause of overheating
and then reconnect the heater fan to the power socket. If this does not solve the problem, take the heater
fan to your authorised service centre for inspection.
MAINTENANCE
Unplug the heater fan from the mains supply before cleaning it.
Regularly clean the grilles over the air intake and air outlet.
Do not use solvents or abrasive products for cleaning.
