VIII. LIST OF ERRORS
1. Reading the error indication
Error code Description Cause Corrective measure
1 Temporary stop fault Temporary stop switch has been
pressed.
Reset the temporary stop switch. Then, press the
"RESET" switch.
2 Sewing machine fault A fault has occurred in the main
body of sewing machine.
Correct the fault referring to the Instruction Manual
for the main body of sewing machine.
10 Needle thread trimmer
cylinder sensor fault
Operation end of the needle thread
trimmer cylinder could not be de-
tected.
Check for interfering matter, re-check the cylinder
sensor position, replace the cylinder sensor with a
new one, or check the air pressure.
11 Bobbin thread trimmer
cylinder fault
Operation end of the bobbin thread
trimmer cylinder could not be de-
tected.
Check for interfering matter, re-check the cylinder
sensor position, replace the cylinder sensor with a
new one, or check the air pressure.
12 Bobbin case holder po-
sitioning finger cylinder
sensor fault
Operation end of the bobbin case
holder positioning finger cylinder
could not be detected.
Check for interfering matter, re-check the cylinder
sensor position, replace the cylinder sensor with a
new one, or check the air pressure.
20 Stitch skipping detec-
tion fault
Stitch skipping has been detected
during sewing.
Reset the fault with the "RESET" switch on the
indication box. Then, cancel the temporary stop of
the sewing machine.
21 No bobbin-thread fault Bobbin thread has run out during
sewing.
Reset the fault with the "RESET" switch on the
indication box. Then, cancel the temporary stop of
the sewing machine.
22 Bobbin setting fault Bobbin setting position could not
be confirmed after the replacement
of bobbin thread.
Check the loaded position of the bobbin.
When a fault occurs, the corresponding error code will be display on PLC inside the heat cutter control box.
Check the error code following the steps of procedure described below.
1) Press the key to select DM as a select-
ed device.
2) Set the device number to "10" with the /
key.

In the case two or more faults occur simultaneously, the error code number of which is smaller is displayed preferentially.
However, the error code "2" is an external error and is given the lowest preference.
Be aware that the heat cutter retrieves the origin if the reset switch in the indicator box is
pressed when a cylinder-sensor fault occurs.
