PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE

Food is unevenly
chopped.
• Workbowl is over
filled.
• You may be running
the bowl continuously
instead of using
the Perfect Prep™
function.
• Food may be cut in
random sizes.
• Smaller amounts will
process more evenly.
• Use the Perfect Prep™
button in 5 second or less
increments. Allow the
blades to stop completely
before pressing the Perfect
Prep™ button again.
• Cut food in same size
pieces before placing in
processor.
Appliance stops
running.
• Motor may be
overheating.
• Pieces of food in the
workbowl are too
large.
• Unplug appliance and allow
it to cool approximately 5
minutes before continuing
use.
• Cut food into ½-inch pieces.
