Error Messages
Error messages resulting from inappropriate operations are described below. For error messages
resulting from malfunctions, refer to “5.1.3 Error Message List”.
Error Messages Description
UNACCEPTABLE Unacceptable key has been pressed. This message appears
for 1 second.
PRINTER POWER OFF The printer power is off.
PRINTER PAPER END Printer paper is used up.
VACANT MEMORY CH An empty memory channel has been selected.
VACANT PRIVATE CH An empty private channel has been selected.
5 MIN TIME OUT Transmission period has reached 5 minutes (this message
only appears if the five minute warning has been enabled).
ECC ERROR An error in a message being received has been detected by
error check characters.
TX DISABLE PTT has been pressed for a transmission disabled channel.
INVALID CHANNEL A nonexistent channel has been selected. Check the
channel list.
DSC CH BUSY DSC channel is occupied by other station. Wait until DSC
channel becomes available.
