MANAGEMENT OF WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
This product falls within the scope of Directive 2012/19/EU on the management of
waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). The appliance must not be disposed
of with household waste as it consists of various materials that can be recycled at
appropriate facilities. Inform yourself through your local authority as to the location
of the ecological platforms for receiving the product for disposal and its subsequent
proper recycling. The product is not potentially dangerous for human health and the
environment, as it does not contain harmful substances as per Directive 2011/65/EU
(RoHS), but if left in the environment it has a negative impact on the ecosystem. Read
the instructions carefully before using the unit for the first time.
It is recommended that the product should not be used for any other purpose than
that for which it was intended, as there is a risk of electric shock if used improperly.
9 - DISPOSAL
When the
JO
NIX
devices are no longer used they must be disposed of in compliance with the
regulations in force in the country of installation. The devices consists of the following materials:
• Stainless steel.
• Aluminium.
• Glass.
• Nylon.
• Plastic.
• Paper and Cardboard.
• Wood.
DISPOSAL OF FILTERS
The filters are not washable and are not recyclable. For the replacement procedure,
refer to paragraph 7.2.1 "REPLACING THE FILTERS". The filters must be disposed of
in unsorted municipal waste or according to the requirements of the regulations of the
country of installation.
