Concealed connection
Important
- For concealed connection any pipework external to the firebox must be of the sleeved
type. If using the knockouts in the back or side of the firebox to bring in the gas supply pipe then the
Rubber Grommet supplied
MUST
be fitted.
If an alternative hole is used through the firebox to bring in the gas supply pipe then the pipe hole
MUST
be sealed.
Hearth Connection
Route the pipe along the hearth. Ensure that the gas pipe does not interfere with the removal or
replacement of the fire front or operation of the controls.
Preparing the Fire Front
ONLY RECOMMENDED JETMASTER FIRE FRONTS SHOULD BE USED WITH THIS FIRE.
The Regency Front, Open Front and Bauhaus Front are free standing and when fitted should stand
on the hearth up against the front of the firebox.
The horizontal
fire front requires the fire front fixing brackets to be screwed onto the burner using
the self tapping screws. The fixing brackets should be located
before
fitting burner tray into firebox.
Otherwise it becomes difficult to locate the screws with the burner fitted particularly with the manual
version. (See Figs. 7)
RC - To attach, screw the Horizontal Front fixing bracket to
top
of battery heat shield left hand side
and to the
top
of the burner tray leg right hand side. (See Fig 7a, 7b)
Manual - To attach, screw the Horizontal Front fixing bracket one each side to the
underside
of the
front plate. (See Fig 7c, 7d)
The Bauhaus
fire front requires the fitting of the heat shield and fibre washers behind the knob and
ash pan cover (See Bauhaus instruction leaflet) in with the Bauhaus fire front.
