GETTING STARTED
1. Remove the battery compartment cover.

2. Install 2 “AAA” (UM-4) batteries (not included) in the battery compartment following
the polarity markings shown on it.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Note:
The unit will still operate without the batteries installed, but the time, alarm
and radio preset settings will be lost and have to be reset in the event of a power
interruption or failure.
Warnings:

Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as direct sunlight, fire or the
like.

Be sure that the batteries are installed correctly. Wrong polarity may damage the
unit.

Do not mix old and new batteries.
