From Standby mode, press and hold the MODE button to enter the settings mode. The
message “SEt” appears below the record quality options. The current record quality
setting will be flashing. Tap the / buttons to select a new quality setting.
Tap the +/ - buttons to step through the other settings menus and then tap the ►/■
button to confirm the settings.
Tap the MODE button to exit the settings mode.

HP (High Play): the best quality
– the shortest recording time
MP (Medium Play): good quality
SP (Standard Play): normal quality
LP (Long Play): the lowest sound quality
– the longest recording time

In power off mode, press and
hold the ►/■ button to turn on
the unit. The display will turn on,
and the unit will be in Standby
mode. Year, month, date and time
will show on LCD display.

1. When using the recorder in Play
or Record Mode, press and hold
the ►/■ button for 2 seconds and
the unit will switch to Standby mode
(Date and Time showing).
2. From Standby mode, press and
hold the ►/■ button to turn the unit
off. The display will go blank.
Note:
The unit will turn off automa-
tically after 3 minutes if left in Stand-
by Mode, or when left unattended
and not playing or recording anything.
