Elevation of the care bed
The system is still able to operate
effectively on a healthcare bed with
electric profiling functions, when both
backrest and knee break are elevated.
However, attention must be paid here to
the correct patient positioning and posture.
This will depend on body shape and clinical
picture. If in doubt, please seek the advice
of attending physician or specialist care
provider.
When the backrest is in a raised position, it
is important to ensure the patient is secure
and unable to accidently fall forward.
The maximum elevation of the backrest
should not exceed 20º, except when
required for eating and drinking.
When used correctly, Levabo ApS gives a
24-month guarantee from the invoice date.
During this period, faulty parts will be
repaired or replaced, free of charge, if
caused during the manufacturing process.
Levabo ApS assumes no liability for
damages due to:
1. Failure to follow the operating
instructions
2. Not using the equipment for the intended
purpose
3. Unauthorised modifications
4. Servicing of equipment by unauthorised
personnel
5. Use of unauthorised spare parts
The warranty is based on legal provisions
and directives.
If the system is modified in some way
without the prior approval of Levabo ApS,
the warranty lapses.
Should it be determined that a warranty
claim is not valid because the damage
or fault is due to normal wear and tear
or some other cause not covered by the
product warranty, then Levabo Aps
reserves the right to charge the client
for any expenses incurred (Eg: testing,
transportation charges and the like)
