Start by loosely mounting the top rail to the corresponding front and rear
legs using the 5/16”-18 x 3/4” button head bolts and 5/16”-18 serr. flange
nuts. The side rail should sit on the top of the legs with the small slotted
flange pointing down along the side of the legs. The side rail bolts into the
top of each leg as well as the side of each leg. Make sure that you have the
legs oriented so that if you were to set them onto the side of the bed, the
wing of the rear leg and the mounting plate of the front leg are towards
the rear. Also, make sure that the top edge of the side rail is angled towards
the front so that the top edge hangs over the front of the front leg.
