Rotating the tires:
TPMS Sensor batteries
Batteries used in the TPMS sensors are CR1632.
There is a small bag of parts that comes with the
sensors. Parts include a wrench, 6 nuts, 6 large
O-rings, 6 small O-rings, and a black handle tool
used to open the TPMS sensors (A).
The black handle tool has serrations that match
up to the bottom side of the sensor (B).
Place the sensor in the handle tool as shown (C).
The sensor will unscrew as shown allowing ac-
cess to the battery inside (D).
The battery “+” side faces upwards in the holder.
To remove the battery, you must
carefully
lift a tab that
holds the battery in place around the battery edge (E – cir-
cled). The battery will slide out from under this tab.
•
TPMS sensors –
DO NOT MOVE WITH THE TIRES!
•
The TPMS sensor on the front tire (on either side of the trailer)
STAYS
at
the front tire position when rotating tires.
•
The TPMS sensor on the middle tire (on either side of a 3 axle trailer)
STAYS
at the middle tire position when rotating tires.
•
The TPMS sensor on the rear tire (on either side of the trailer)
STAYS
at the rear tire position when rotating tires (on both dual and triple axle
trailers).
•
This guarantees tire pressures displayed on the touchscreen are accurate-
ly showing the correct tire locations on the trailer.
NOTE:
The large O-rings are replacements for the one inside the TPMS
sensor (E arrow). The small O-rings are replacements for the small O-ring
located inside the valve stem cap.
