Section 8: Plumbing System
128
SANITIZE TANK:
This setting is for putting sanitizer into the fresh water tank (refer to
sanitize tank and country fill diagram).
Black valve should be turned so it points to the clear suction hose.
White valve should be pointing left toward the water tank as shown.
Place the clear suction hose into a container of
sanitizer solution. Turn the pump switch ON and
sanitizer will be drawn into fresh water tank.
COUNTRY FILL:
This setting allows you to fill the
fresh water tank from a container of water in the absence of a pres-
surized water source.
Black valve should be pointing to the clear suction hose.
White valve should be pointing left toward the water tank.
This setting is identical to the
SANITIZE TANK
setting. Instead
of placing the clear hose in a container of sanitizer, place it in a
container of fresh water.
Turn water pump ON and water will be siphoned out of the container and into the fresh water
tank.
All drain valves must be closed to create a siphon
.
Do not remove the potable water label from your recreation vehicle.
Water Heater Bypass (2 Valves):
Most floor plans have a factory installed water
heater bypass that enables you to avoid filling the
water heater with RV antifreeze. Bypass valves
are typically located in close proximity to the wa-
ter heater. Outside utility centers (if so equipped)
operate differently than a factory installed bypass
system. Refer to the
Outside Utility Center
sec-
tion for details.
Operation:
Normal Mode
operation allows water to flow into the water heater. Hot water bypass valve
handle (B) should point toward the water heater. Cold water bypass valve (A) should point
toward the water heater.
NOTE:
Utility center blue valve position does not matter as it is not used
for sanitizing.
NOTE:
Make sure you have sufficient
12V power and all drain valves are
closed to create a siphon.
