FUSE
FUSE LOCATION
Your Janus is equipped with a fuse located beneath the tank, on the
starter relay.
If a fuse fails during operation, inspect the electrical system
to determine the cause and then replace it with a new fuse of the
correct rating.
FUSE REPLACEMENT
1. To replace the fuse, loosen the electrical pan screws and remove
the electrical pan.
2. Locate the starter relay and remove the bad fuse and replace.
3. Replace electrical pan taking care to arrange the wiring such that
it is not pinched.
4. Replace and tighten the electrical pan screws.
WARNING: Always replace blown fuses with new fuses of the
correct current rating and never use a fuse with a higher rating.
Use of an incorrectly rated fuse could lead to an electrical problem
resulting in motorcycle damage, loss of control and an accident.
FUSE SPECIFICATIONS
The Janus Phoenix & Halcyon 250 use a 30amp spade fuse.
An extra fuse is located in a slot at the back of the starter relay.
