Instructions for putting the baby carrier on (See figure 3):

On the adult: Pass your head between the fastening straps so that the straps rest

correctly on your shoulders and the lumbar safety cross is on your back. Fig. 3.1

and  3.2.  Adjust  the  height  of  the  back  straps  by  pulling  them  until  they  fit

correctly. Fig. 3.2. Lastly, fit the lower back strap around you waist and use the

Velcro belt to fasten it snugly. Fasten it securely with the safety buckle clip. Fig 3.3

With the baby:

Placing the baby in the carrier facing you:

You  can  now  position  your  baby  in  the  baby  carrier.  Open  the  baby  carrier

loosening the adjustment straps so you can put the baby in easily. See figure 3.4.

With the baby held securely against your chest, position his legs carefully, making

sure that they both pass through the correct holes and fasten the button on the

leg  adjustment  strap  (this  button  should  always  be  fastened  when  the  baby

weighs between 3.5 and 4.5 kg.) Fig. 3.7. Hold the baby securely against you until

the baby carrier has been correctly fastened. Make sure that the child is sitting

straddling the seat and check that his arms come out through the side holes.

While supporting the back of the baby’s neck with one hand, use your other hand

to adjust the neck support straps (Fig. 3.8). Lastly, fasten the front fastening clips.

Fig. 3.9.

They will click when fastened correctly. When the height is correct and the baby

is sitting comfortably your chin should touch the top of the baby’s head.

FIGURE 3

Placing the baby in the carrier facing outwards (facing forwards):

When your baby can fully support his head by himself, it’s time for him to

explore! The forwards facing position lets the baby discover the best of both

worlds, as he is still held by you but he can also see everything that’s going on

around him. With the adult already wearing the baby carrier, open the carrier

loosening the adjustment straps (fig. 3.4). Loosen the neck support straps until

the support is completely stretched out, fold and fasten the neck support with

the clip button. (fig. 3.10) Position the separator as appropriate for the baby’s

age. (Check the versatility of the baby carrier section of this manual) Pick the

baby up and place him in the carrier. With the baby’s back resting against

your chest, carefully slide the baby into the baby carrier so his face is looking

outwards. (fig. 3.11). For the baby’s safety ask another person to help you if

necessary. Make sure that the baby’s legs both go through the right holes.

Fasten the leg adjustment strap if necessary (fig. 3.7). Lastly, adjust and fasten

the front fastening buttons (fig. 3.9). The baby should not be tilted forwards.

(Note: Make sure that the child is sitting straddling the seat and check that his

arms come out through the side holes. See fig. 3.7 again.

How to switch from one position to another

To switch from one position to another, take the child out of the carrier by first releasing the chest fastening straps gently pressing the

sides of the clip, unfasten the neck support and the leg adjustment strap.

When the baby carrier is fully open, place it in the appropriate position for you and your baby making sure to always adjust the important

parts for your child’s safety:

-Neck support or face area (depending on the position). Make sure that the baby’s face is not pressed so tightly against your body or the

neck support that no air passes through, exposing him to the possible risk of suffocation. The headrest should always be used in the back

position if the baby weighs between 3.5 and 4.5 kg.

-Adjust the leg measurements if the baby weighs between 3.5 and 4 kg.

-Fasten the baby carrier closing the front adjustment clips.

-Adjust all the straps to suit the height and weight of your child.

-Check that the chest fastening straps are securely fastened.
